Frequently Asked Questions
Guaranteed Earnings
You get paid every scheduled shift — even on quiet days. No gambling on volume. Just reliable income.
Most delivery gigs pay per drop. Quiet day? You earn nothing. That’s not how Express Courier Guys works. We guarantee a daily minimum for every scheduled shift. If delivery volumes are low, you still get paid. If volumes are high, you earn even more.
The 4-Hour Minimum Rule: If you are called into a shift and work for less than four hours, you must legally be paid for at least four hours of work.
Request Tight Delivery Clusters: Ask the dispatcher for a dense drop-off zone. Delivering 20 parcels in one neighborhood makes you far more money than delivering 5 parcels spread across different suburbs.
Delivery is typically handled by specialized trucks. You must ensure your site is prepared to avoid failed delivery charges.
- Truck Types: Usually a HIAB (truck with a crane to lift and place the unit) or a tilt-bed truck (the unit slides off the back).
- Site Prep: The ground must be level and firm (concrete, gravel, or asphalt is best).
- Clearance: Ensure there is enough space for a large truck to maneuver, with no overhanging branches or low power lines
- Automated Self-Billing: The company’s driver app tracks your completed deliveries, distances, and earnings automatically. At the end of the week, the system generates a “self-billing invoice” on your behalf.
- Automatic Bank Transfers (EFT): Your earnings are directly transferred to your bank account on a set day every week (typically every Friday or Tuesday).
- Transparent Digital Statements: You receive an automated digital statement showing your total trips, earnings, and any deductions (like fuel deposits or vehicle rentals), meaning you never have to manually create or email an invoice.
